The Enormous Crocodile is here to wish a 6-year-old a “snappy birthday†this year on the front of an official Roald Dahl birthday card. A children’s birthday card features The Enormous Crocodile baring his teeth over a large red “6 today†on top of an orange background and the words “Snappy Birthday†placed above his head. The design is in keeping with Quentin Blake’s original illustrations from the book and is immediately recognisable. Unconventionally, the card opens horizontally to reveal a message inside reads: “Have a yummy day!†with a small illustration of the Roly-Poly Bird in the bottom right corner.
