The Great British Bake off, which is often abbreviated to ‘GBBO’ or ‘Bake off’, is a popular television baking competition which follows amateur bakers who compete to impress the judges with their delectable desserts.
Each episode sees the contestants tackle a different baking skill, with tasks progressively getting harder as the weeks continue. An elimination takes place every week leaving only the crème-de-la-crème in the final.
Bake off has been blessing our screens since 2010, running for eleven seasons and the twelfth series is coming back tonight!
